Stonar has the strongest equestrian programme in the UK, underpinned by world-class equestrian facilities and the highest quality teaching and coaching staff.
Around half of our Senior pupils ride and we cater for every level - beginners to elite riders. We teach pupils how to care for and manage equine animals, as well as how to ride.
Stonar is certainly a school to look at – highly ambitious for their pupils, they also provide a nurturing education which brings out the best in every child. Oh, and there is an absolutely outstanding equestrian centre.
Our facilities are British Horse Society approved and exclusive to Stonar pupils.
Riding lessons will feature throughout the day, including during PE and at lunchtime, as well as after school. Pupils can access the stables during breaks - and from 4.15pm for evening stables and free riding and Stonar's equestrian Clubs.
- Pony Club is on Monday evenings for Senior pupils
- On Tuesdays riders with their own horse can compete at West Wilts
- The weekly Stonar Accumulator takes place on Wednesdays
Stonar is widely known as the best equestrian school in the UK.
