Last week, a group of pupils took part in the Globeducate Academic Olympics, hosted (virtually) by ICS Milan.
Years 10 and 11 lead to GCSEs. We want pupils to enjoy their time at Stonar, so we build the timetable, as far as we can, around their choice of optional academic subjects and outside interests – so that competitive riders and keen athletes, for instance, have time to practise.
Helping pupils achieve beyond predicted results.
Stonar has a history of very strong results and we are particularly proud of the value we add. You can read more about how we help pupils to achieve beyond their predicted results, and see results benchmarked against pupils of the same ability at other schools nationally.
Whilst we expect pupils to work hard, there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved in activities, clubs and the wider community. Pupils are encouraged to spend time away from the classroom getting involved in extracurricular activities such as school sports, riding, assemblies and the popular Duke of Edinburgh programme.
