Members of the Stonar Riding Academy have opportunities for a more dynamic competition experience with the following events:
NSEA
Stonar teams attend various NSEA qualifiers throughout the school year, with our main goal being qualification for the NSEA National Championships.
The NSEA offers a range of prestigious inter-school equestrian competitions throughout the country, from local events to annual National Championships. Disciplines include Dressage, Show Jumping, Arena Eventing (‘Jumping with Style’), One Day Events, Eventer’s Challenge and Grass Roots competitions.
NSEA Grass Roots Prep team
The Prep School have their own Grassroots team for pupils who have their own ponies, who compete at NSEA competitions. The Grassroots team is parent led, with the support of the Equestrian Centre. Once riders have outgrown the Grassroots team they can progress to join the Stonar Academy.

Through membership of British Showjumping’s ‘Just for Schools’ (JFS) membership our Academy members have the opportunity to compete at show centres of a high standard, offering professionally built courses ranging from 60cm - 1.10m.
