Boarders' Week Day Schedule 

Life as a Stonar boarder is designed to be structured, supportive and full of opportunities.Our weekday schedule balances academic focus with personal wellbeing, ensuring pupils feel at home while thriving both inside and outside the classroom. From peaceful morning routines to a wide range of afternoon activities and relaxed evening downtime, each day provides a rhythm that helps boarders develop independence, responsibility and a strong sense of community.

Morning Routine

7.00am
Pupils may leave for the stables/pupils wake themselves up.

7.45am
Roll Call in house and dorm check, as required.
Sixth Formers do not have a morning roll call.

7.45 - 8.15am
All pupils have free time in boarding house, if not in activities.

After School Routine

4.05 - 5.30pm
Pupils have free time in boarding house, if not in activities.

5.30 - 6.30pm
Supper in dining room.

Ganbrook & Hart House

6.30pm
Gabrook in Hart House meeting to include roll call.

6.45 - 7.45pm
Prep for Senior pupils 
Supervised reading, activities, music practice and relaxing time for Prep boarders.

8.15pm
Bedtime routine starts for younger pupils. Older pupils can take part in activities or spend time relaxing before their bedtime routine starts.

 

York House

6.30pm - 9.00pm
Quiet time to allow for academic study and an opportunity to contact home.

7.30pm
Roll call

9.00 - 10.15pm
Free time

10.15pm
Bedtime routine starts.
