Admissions Process

Families have different reasons for choosing Stonar. We are here to help, whether your child is joining our Nursery, at the beginning of Prep, or elsewhere in their educational journey.

Many UK national and internationally based families want to speak to us about our boarding facilities and pastoral care, as well as our academic track record - and keen riders want to hear about our exclusive onsite equestrian facilities. No matter what you want to ask, our experienced Admissions Team is always happy to answer your questions, talk through our entrance procedures or arrange a tour.

We warmly invite you to visit and see our school in action. As well as open day events, we welcome visitors to Stonar throughout the year for individual tours and to meet the Headmaster, teachers and other pupils.

The key entry points into the school are at ages 4, 11, 13 and 16, however, we can accept applications for other year groups, subject to availability. Our Nursery accepts children from 2 years old, offering both a term time and all year round option.

If you’re ready to apply, then please complete our Registration Form and send it to our Admissions Team. We will get in touch to advise you of the next steps and make the necessary arrangements to progress your application.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Offer of a Place

Each formal offer is made subject to our Standard Terms and Conditions. Your child’s place will be secured upon receipt of the signed acceptance form and the non-refundable acceptance fee. A copy of the Standard Terms and Conditions will accompany the formal offer of a place.

Ready to register? Please download the registration form below and return to our Admissions team, who will be able to advise of the next steps you will need to take.
