Stonar is nationally renowned for its Equestrian Centre with stabling for 64 horses. We are looking for a experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and efficient person to join our existing team.
This role would suit someone who is working towards completion of their BHS Stage 2 or 3 in Complete Horsemanship. The successful applicant will have access to training from highly qualified staff.
This is a full time position with a requirement to work some weekends. Accommodation and full board included.

We are seeking an NPLQ Adhoc Lifeguard to be responsible for monitoring and supervising aquatic activities during busy periods including special events and school holidays. Primary duties include overseeing swimmer safety, rescue operations and staying alert to changing water conditions at all times.
Working hours will be on an ADHOC basis as part of a zero hour’s contract. Flexibility would be needed in order to cover upcoming events, school holiday’s and emergencies.
Meals and refreshments are provided whilst on duty.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and organised people to join our exam invigilator team to ensure exams are carried out according to the Exams Code of Conduct for both internal and external exams from January –June 2022.
Hours and days are variable according to need and availability with morning sessions starting at 8.10am and afternoon sessions starting at 1.10pm.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and efficient Assistant Yard Manager/Coach to join the team. We are seeking an EYFS Nursery Practitioner to provide support for the EYFS Academic Staff and to assist in the smooth running of the EYFS Nursery and EYFS Reception class as required by the Head of Prep. All requests of a reasonable nature and appropriate to experience and qualifications should be carried out.
The welfare of the children is the most important part of any job in a school and the EYFS Nursery Practitioner should be prepared to help in any way that is required. An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified, caring and enthusiastic individual to join our happy, boarding community as a Houseparent. The successful candidate will run one of our vibrant and friendly boarding houses and is expected to teach approximately 0.5 of a timetable. This is a residential position and on-site accommodation will be provided.
Stonar is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18, which was rated excellent by ISI in October 2018 for both pupil achievement and personal development. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Chemistry to join a well-established Science Department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Science to promote the study and enjoyment of science throughout the school. They should be able to teach Chemistry to A Level and Biology and Physics to KS3. A willingness and ability to teach one other Science to GCSE level will be an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified teacher to join a successful, well-resourced department and to work with enthusiastic, positive pupils.
