Year 6 Visit to the REME Museum
Our Year 6 pupils have been bringing their World War II topic to life with a visit to the REME Museum in Lyneham.
As part of their enquiry into “What role did Britain play in WWII and how did this impact the outcome of the war?”, pupils have been exploring the galleries and taking part in a series of challenges.
They have also enjoyed a hands-on workshop, examining and learning about a range of World War II artefacts, helping them to develop a deeper understanding of the experiences of those who lived and served during the war.
The adventure continued as the pupils headed onto the assault course for a final challenge!
It has been a fantastic opportunity for our Year 6 pupils to connect their classroom learning with real objects, stories and experiences from the past.
