At the end of Year 9’s recent unit on clothes, pupils brought their learning to life with a lively and creative fashion show. Working in groups, they confidently presented a range of outfits entirely in Spanish, showcasing their growing vocabulary and grasp of key grammatical structures. It was a fantastic opportunity to develop their speaking skills in a fun and engaging way, and their enthusiasm and creativity were truly impressive. ¡Fantástico!

Year 4 - 7 Spanish Pen pal letters

Pupils from Year 4 to Year 7 were delighted to receive letters from their Spanish pen pals at Colegio La Presentación FESD in Navarra. Our pupils wrote their letters in Spanish, using the vocabulary and structures they learnt last term, while their pen pals kindly write back in English. This exchange allows both groups to practise their language skills in a meaningful and authentic way. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to learn about the lives of children their age in Spain. We are now looking forward to writing our replies to them this term.
