Stonar to host Globeducate Global Olympics

Stonar is thrilled to be hosting this year’s Globeducate Global Olympics, welcoming over 200 pupils from 25 Globeducate schools across the world for a multi-day celebration of sport, international friendship, and collaboration.

The prestigious event, held annually within the Globeducate education network, brings together pupils from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds to compete in a range of sports - including football, swimming, tennis and athletics - with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Unlike traditional school competitions, the Globeducate Global Olympics takes a unique approach: teams are intentionally mixed, comprising pupils from different countries and schools. This format is designed to break down barriers and encourage meaningful connections.

Charlotte Bennett, Stonar's Director of Partnerships and event organiser, said: "The Globeducate Global Olympics is more than just a sporting competition; it’s a celebration of what’s possible when young people from around the world come together to compete. They start the competition as complete strangers and, more often than not, finish as friends!
