Stonar Pupils Go Wild!
Pupils and staff at Stonar Prep joined fellow Globeducate schools around the world in celebrating WWF's annual Wear It Wild Day last week, helping to raise awareness of endangered species and wildlife conservation.
Pupils embraced the day by wearing animal-themed costumes and taking part in creative activities linked to environmental learning. Across the Globeducate network, students explored conservation through art, fundraising, outdoor learning and classroom projects.
Dan Gower, Deputy Head at Stonar Prep, said: “It was fantastic to see so many pupils embracing the spirit of Wear It Wild Day! It was wonderful to see the imagination that had gone into many of the costumes, with recycling and creativity the order of the day.”
Wear It Wild Day forms part of Globeducate's ongoing partnership with WWF, encouraging pupils to become responsible global citizens and champions for the natural world.
