Stonar Pupils Attend International Music Festival in Mallorca
Nine talented pupils from Stonar recently joined 170 students from 15 Globeducate schools across Europe and Canada for the 13th annual Globeducate International Music Festival.
Held at Agora Portals International School in Mallorca, the four-day event culminated in a spectacular concert, "Guardians of the Sea," focused on ocean preservation, which was live streamed across the globe.
The event provided pupils with a unique opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds from around the world. They formed part of the string orchestra, wind band, and choir, showcasing their musical abilities alongside their peers.
Beyond the music, the festival also showcased the work of local artists Ángel Mercé Grases and África Juan, whose sea and music-inspired art was exhibited. Proceeds from art sales and concert tickets benefited the Cateura Recycled Instrument Orchestra and the Palma Aquarium Foundation.
