Pupils at Stonar joined children from across the local community for the School's inaugural Swim-Bike-Run event, embracing the challenge of multisport racing while demonstrating determination, resilience and teamwork.

Open to children aged six and above, the event featured both aquathlon and triathlon races. Participants began in Stonar's onsite swimming pool before transitioning to cycling and running courses around the School's sports grounds.

For some, it was an opportunity to showcase their racing experience, powering confidently around the course. For others, it marked their first taste of multisport competition, with the simple achievement of completing each discipline in the correct order proving a memorable success.

Jodie Swallow, Stonar's Head of Triathlon, said: "Whether six years old or 16, completing a first multisport event is no small achievement. Alongside the physical demands, participants had to demonstrate organisation, patience and focus - qualities that sit at the heart of Stonar's growing triathlon programme.

"Huge congratulations to every child who took part. I would also like to thank the parents, staff and volunteers whose enthusiasm, support and dedication helped make the day such a success."
