Ski Trip to Alp2500 in Spain

Miss Harris shares her round up of Stonar's 2026 Ski Trip:

This year’s ski trip to Alp2500 in Spain offered pupils an unforgettable week of skiing, challenge and plenty of fun. After a very early start, we arrived in resort ready to make the most of every moment. Despite a brief (but patient!) wait at passport control, spirits remained high and we were soon out in the snow, kicking things off with some enthusiastic snowball fights.

Each day followed a structured routine, with pupils taking part in ski lessons morning and afternoon. The progress across the week was incredible. Beginners quickly built confidence, while more experienced skiers pushed themselves onto more challenging runs. By midweek, with tired legs starting to set in, pupils showed real determination and resilience.

The weather was another standout, with fresh snowfall creating perfect conditions and blue skies making for some stunning days on the mountain. There’s nothing quite like skiing on fresh powder with sunshine overhead.

Evenings were just as enjoyable, with a range of activities including bowling, karaoke, quiz night and a much-anticipated pizza night in La Molina. These gave pupils the chance to relax, socialise and enjoy time together off the slopes.

Throughout the week, pupils demonstrated fantastic teamwork, independence and a real willingness to get stuck in. It was brilliant to see friendships strengthen and confidence grow each day.

Overall, it was an incredible trip filled with memorable moments, lots of laughter and some seriously impressive skiing - one that will stay with us all for a long time. Thank you Mr Hobson, Mrs Worrall, Mr Burns and Mrs Carter for all their support through the week!
