Sixth Formers attend Globeducate MUN in Spain
Four Sixth Form pupils recently (11-14 March) participated in the prestigious Globeducate Model United Nations (MUN) event held at Cambridge House British International School in Valencia, Spain.
The MUN brought together over 140 students from 22 Globeducate schools from 40 nationalities and countries across the globe, including Canada, Portugal, Italy, and Cyprus.
This year's Globeducate MUN, themed 'Fostering Peace through Sustainable and Inclusive Development,' enabled our pupils to immerse themselves in the world of international diplomacy, applying their research, teamwork, communication, and public speaking skills to address critical global issues within various UN committees.
Oanh Crouch, Globeducate Education Director, said: "It is a thrill to provide an international opportunity for our diverse and dedicated young leaders to gather and engage in diplomacy, debate, and collaboration on some of the most pressing global issues. This event not only shapes students' understanding of global issues, but also equips them with the skills and confidence to be the leaders of tomorrow."
