Nursery Sports Day a Joyful Event!

The first of our Sports Days took place this week, and it was the turn of our very littlest pupils to shine!

Our Nursery children enjoyed a wonderful morning of races, relays and balancing challenges, supported every step of the way by their fantastic Year 6 buddies.

With parents, staff, and friends cheering from the sidelines, the children showed great enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork throughout the event. There were plenty of smiles, lots of encouragement, and some brilliant sporting efforts on display.

A huge well done to all of our young athletes. We loved seeing their excitement and pride as they received their rosettes at the end of a fun-filled morning.

Mr Cunningham, Head of Prep, said: "Sports Day is all about taking part, having fun and giving your best effort. At Stonar, we encourage a healthy spirit of competition, helping children to celebrate both their own achievements and those of others. It was wonderful to see our youngest pupils showing such joy throughout the morning."
