Final Week of Term in Prep
The final week of term has been filled with celebration, achievement and memorable moments across the Prep School as pupils rounded off another fantastic year at Stonar.
The celebrations began on Monday evening as we gathered on the Prep Lawn to honour our Year 6 pupils at their special End of Prep Celebration. Joined by their families, pupils enjoyed a delicious BBQ, sang together and listened to a heartfelt poem written especially for the occasion by Mr Gower.
Each Year 6 pupil was also presented with a commemorative gift to mark the end of their Prep School journey and recognise all they have accomplished during their time at Stonar.
We are incredibly proud of everything our Year 6 pupils have achieved. As they prepare to take their next exciting step into Senior School, we wish them every success and look forward to watching them continue to thrive as part of the Stonar community.
The excitement continued with a brilliant Sports Day, where pupils from Reception to Year 6 took to the field with enthusiasm, determination and huge smiles. From fast-paced sprint races and energetic obstacle courses to jumping and throwing events, every child embraced the opportunity to challenge themselves while demonstrating excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.
It was wonderful to see pupils encouraging one another, celebrating successes and giving every event their very best effort. Congratulations to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a fun and uplifting occasion.
Finally, Years 5 and 6 pupils also enjoyed an unforgettable Spanish Day, immersing themselves in the language and culture through a range of exciting activities. The day began with a lively flamenco dancing workshop before pupils tried their hand at making delicious pinchos and took part in a variety of other Spanish-themed activities. It was a fantastic way to celebrate their learning while experiencing the sights, sounds and flavours of Spain.
