Enrichment Week Ends on a High!

As Enrichment Week comes to a close, our pupils have enjoyed an unforgettable week of adventure, creativity and discovery, stepping away from their usual timetables to embrace exciting new challenges and experiences.

Across the week, pupils visited the Globe Theatre, discovered the world of chocolate at Cadbury World, explored Oxford Brookes University, enjoyed a day of fishing, and immersed themselves in Spanish culture during a Year 5 & 6 Spanish Day featuring flamenco dancing, pinchos and a range of cultural activities. Year 3 pupils showcased their stitching skills, others took on the "Bag in a Day" enterprise challenge, designed and made infinity lights during the DT Challenge, and developed their teamwork at rugby camp.

The week also saw Years 7 and 8 travel to Northern France for a language and cultural visit, while other pupils became detectives during an immersive CSI experience. Our Duke of Edinburgh Gold participants tackled their expedition in the Lake District, Year 10 enjoyed a Sixth Form Taster Day, Sixth Form students completed first aid and careers sessions, and Year 9 began the week with an inspiring leadership event, including a live performance from Runaway Club exploring mental health, discrimination and bullying.

Every activity offered pupils the opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, work collaboratively and create lasting memories beyond the classroom.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, visiting speakers and activity leaders for making Enrichment Week such a success, and well done to every pupil for embracing each opportunity with enthusiasm, curiosity and positivity.
