Teams Shine at British Dressage Quest Regional Championships
Stonar celebrated a fantastic day of success at the British Dressage Quest Regional Championships at Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre in Somerset, with both teams finishing on the podium.
The Stonar Planets claimed first place, securing their qualification for the National Quest Dressage Championships, which take place in November in Lincolnshire.
The winning team featured:
- Sofia AJ – 1st, Novice
- Lucy S – 1st, Prelim
- Henrietta H – 6th, Prelim
The Stonar Comets also delivered an impressive performance, finishing third overall. The team comprised:
- Annabelle HJ – 4th, Prelim
- Lois S – 4th, Intro
- Yosemite T – 3rd, Prelim
There was further individual success in the MyQuest competition. Yosemite finished 7th in both the Introductory and Preliminary classes, while Sofia secured second place in the Novice class, earning individual qualification for the National Championships.
The results reflected the pupils’ hard work and preparation since the start of term. Alongside their strong riding, the girls demonstrated excellent teamwork and sportsmanship, supporting one another throughout the competition.
A particularly lovely example of this came during the warm-up, when Lucy S took the time to support another competitor who was upset and in tears.
It was a brilliant day for Stonar’s riders, with both teams returning home with podium finishes, national qualifications and a real sense of pride in their achievements.
