Stonar's Inter Schools One Day Event - Saturday 21 May 2022
  • Riding Results

On Saturday, the weather was beautiful for the return of the Inter Schools One Day Event. The recent rain in the days leading up to the weekend meant the footing was perfect for a day of dressage, showjumping and cross country events. Not only did we have a very successful day for our Stonar riders, but we had countless comments from competitors and many emails following the event, letting us known how much everyone had enjoyed the day.

We could not run such an incredible event without the help and support of countless staff, parents, pupils and volunteers who gave up their time to help us.

Particular thanks goes to all the Stonar Equestrian Team, for their tireless efforts and good humour in the build-up to ISODE and on the day itself - especially Mrs Sowels, who is the glue that holds it all together!

Thank you also to our fantastic event secretary Hannah Matthews and her team, and our cross-country course builders Will Smithers and John Hoare who, along with Johnny Hill, did such a fantastic job with the course preparation.

Special thanks also to Mrs Rabbitt and our team of BTEC Equine Management students who really got stuck in with the preparation and organisation - Hannah W, Nodoka O, Marlene M and Ida B n particular contributed a huge amount on Saturday.
