Stonar Pupils Compete at NSEA Championships October 2022

Three Stonar pupils on horse back at the NSEA Championships
  • Riding Results

Congratulations to 6 Stonar riders who competed at the NSEA championships held at Keysoe International EC at the end of last week.

Two teams competed - Meredith M, Millie H and Elsie R in the 70-75cm class and Lily WM, Megan D and Miriam S in the 90-95cm classes – in very large classes of over 30 teams. All our riders rode well and represented the School brilliantly, however with faults in both teams we did not get into the top 8 this time.

On Sunday, Miriam rode in the 1- 1.05 m class as an individual. There were over 40 riders competing as Indvidual and Miriam secured a space in the jump off final with a fast clear round from her first round. Miriam jumped at the start of the class and it was a long and intense wait for the next few hours, keeping a close watch on the remaining riders. Miriam finished 8th overall after the jump off with a good round. Well done to Miriam and Polar.

A big thank you to the parents who came and supported and the riders represented Stonar brilliantly in what was a very wet few days. Also thank you to Liza Allan our academy coach for being there with the girls this weekend.
