International Events
As a Globeducate school, we offer pupils unique opportunities for true global readiness. Throughout the academic year, Stonar pupils take part in a calendar of in-person and virtual events with schools from eleven countries on four different continents.
Globeducate's Events are organised into three areas:
- Globeducate Events (Seven Global Events)
- Globeducate Agenda (WWF, Eco-Schools, Debates)
- Globeducate Learning Communities (Outdoor Learning, Reading, STEAM)
These unique learning experiences give an added value to the international preparation of our pupils. Hosted by different schools within the Globeducate group each year, the in-person events offer opportunities for Stonar pupils to experience other schools, make new friends, improve language skills and pave the way for academic and professional mobility. Pupils will typically stay with a host family during the event, providing an invaluable opportunity to experience home life in a different country.
I really enjoyed spending time with my friends, meeting lots of people from different countries and seeing how everyone from this event had really good leadership potential. I have learnt so much from every single one of them!
