A Globeducate School

Stonar is proud to be a member of Globeducate - an international network of more than 60 premium schools and online programmes, educating more than 40,000 students in 12 different countries and across four continents.

Globeducate's mission is:

To prepare each of our students to become a global citizen who can shape the world.

Through our membership with Globeducate, we carefully design and create opportunities to ensure that each pupil discovers and develops his or her skills in a positive, nurturing and enriching learning environment. Our pupils feel free to be themselves and this leads them to thrive.

Globeducate schools are culturally and linguistically diverse, allowing us to cultivate a truly global approach to prepare our learners for working within an international framework in the future. While 80% of Stonar’s pupils are British, our community consistently fosters a global mindset. As global citizens, they develop an understanding of and respect for world culture.

Shaping The World

As a Globeducate school, we believe that young people will only succeed in the world of tomorrow if they are prepared for the challenges they will face. The world is changing at an incredible pace and education has to keep up with this constantly shifting environment. Alongside providing an excellent education, we ensure that our pupils build character, learn skills and develop abilities beyond the purely academic. Unprecedented innovation in science and technology will transform the way we live, and the way we work. Our pupils will need to constantly align their skillset to keep pace.

We prepare our pupils for jobs that have not been created, for technologies that have not yet been invented and to solve problems that have not yet been anticipated. To navigate such uncertainty, our pupils must develop creativity, self-confidence and perseverance; they will need to respect and appreciate the ideas, perspectives and values of others - and they will need to care about the wellbeing of their wider communities and planet.

As educators, we have the opportunity and responsibility to lay the foundations for a better future. We prepare each of our pupils to become global citizens who can shape the world.
