Who We Are
Established in 1895, Stonar is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2-18, nestled in the stunning Wiltshire countryside. We offer a nurturing approach and a broad, balanced curriculum, enabling them to achieve academically and pastorally.

Nursery (Ages 2 - 4)
Welcoming children from age 2-4 years old, specialist teachers build pupils' knowledge and skills through learning and play.
Prep (Ages 4 - 11)
Lessons are based on thematic units and we emphasise creativity, sport and outdoor education. Pupils are nurtured to shine academically and personally.
Senior School (Ages 11 - 16)
Consistently in the top 10% of schools nationally for value-added at GCSE, Senior pupils not only enjoy a broad, progressive curriculum and excellent pastoral care, they also achieve highly.
Sixth Form (Ages 16 - 18)
Individual mentoring, small class sizes and a wealth of co curricular and leadership opportunities help students prepare for life beyond Stonar.
Boarding (Ages 9 - 18)
Three boarding houses nestled in our 80 acre countryside grounds provide an idyllic setting for pupils to thrive in our kind, familial environment.
