Boarding
Boarding at Stonar is offered from the age of 8. Resident House Parents look after the girls, supported by an assistant and a team of house tutors.
Flexi-boarding is available from one night through to weekly or even weekend boarding. There is plenty to do after school and at weekends for boarders who will find indoor, outdoor, musical and dramatic activities to suit wide-ranging interests. Older pupils can also enjoy the benefits of living close to the heritage city of Bath, with its diversity of shops, artistic and cultural events.
In the Junior School, boarders are welcomed into the warm, cosy atmosphere of Fuller House, a beautiful farmhouse set within its own gardens and close to the main school campus.

Each House consists of between 20 and 30 girls, reinforcing the greatly cherished family atmosphere. There is an emphasis on personal responsibility and giving freedom within sensible constraints. In the Senior School, day pupils are also members of a House, which complements and strengthens the family atmosphere and creates vibrant and exciting communities for day and boarding pupils alike.

There are four boarding houses (Curnow, Ganbrook, Hart & York) in the Senior School each providing a secure and homely atmosphere within the school campus. The Houses are the focal point for group identity, friendship and relaxation, with opportunities for healthy rivalries between Houses in sport, drama and academic achievement.
