Creativity

Nurturing children’s creative skills and aesthetic appreciation is seen as a fundamental part of the education offered at Stonar Preparatory School.

The Performing Arts are a high profile part of school life, with children of all abilities being encouraged to take part in the Prep School’s many extracurricular music, drama or dance performances.

Music flourishes generally and several concerts are presented each year. Many pupils study one or more instruments and gain from having specialist teachers and practice rooms available in Stonar’s inspiring Music School.

Art is taught throughout the school and there are numerous opportunities to develop children's creative potential.  There are many displays of the children’s work on display around the school.

Broadening horizons and stretching imaginations are keynotes of provision for the Arts at Stonar.
