Deaths
Olivia Cowling	SOGA has learnt of the sad death of Olivia Cowling. Olivia had suffered with Motor Neurone Disease - and her funeral was held earlier this month (Jan 07).
12/08/2007	Mrs Roxanna Rivington Stinson died on Sunday 12th August 2007. She was at Stonar from 1932 to 1937.
27th April 2008	Mrs Roty Benning, who taught German and Russian in the 60's and 70's at Stonar has died aged 90. She was a very popular teacher and 6th Form Housemistress. Many will recall how she invited girls who could not get home during the holidays to stay with her at her Hungerford home. A refugee from Czechoslovakia, Mrs Benning's obituary appeared in the Daily Telegraph yesterday (1 May).
February 2005	Jillian Case-Morris (married name Dibb) lost her 8 year fight with cancer. Her funeral was attended by old Stonarians Rosamund Connolly (nee Clements), Judy Bartley and Pat Gibson.
10.3.05	Many old girls will be saddened to hear of the death of Miss Heather Cullimore on 10th March of this year, just before her 87th birthday. Miss Cullimore, was for many years the dedicated Secretary of Doreen Denmark. Her funeral was attended in Bournemouth by Daphne Watts (Governor, Old Girl and Former SOGA Secretary), Jane de Jong and Ann Worrall.
10/07/2005	Gay Burdett died on the 10th of July 2005.
Marriages
7th July 2007	Victoria Pilling is married on the 7th of July 2007. She's now 'Mrs Vaughan'! Ten Stonarians attended her wedding.
02/08/2005	SOGA (Class 1989) Anh Ðào Kolbe and her fiancée Raquel Evita Saraswati were married on August 2nd, 2005 at Revere Beach, Massachusetts, U.S.A. The two year anniversary of their love was celebrated by Anh Ðào's parents, Ronald and Freny Kolbe and Raquel Evita's closet friend from Simmons College, Fatima Ageel. Fellow Vietnamese adoptee, Mai Linh Dewees was acting justice of the peace, while her husband Simon G. Stone played photographer. You can view their wedding highlights at www.adkfoto.com/Wedding
05/08/2005	Hannah Fox (nee Carr) married Richard Fox on 5th August 2005 and qualified as a Solicitor on 3rd October 2005. She is presently assisting the development of a Claimant Personal Injury Department at Goughs Solicitors in Chippenham. If anyone wishes to contact her, please could they do so via SOGA.
